Maryam Ghanbarian’s paintings integrate calligraphy art with nature, in a very dramatic way, where it’s hard to tell the letters from the flower or plant. Her work is characterized by a dramatic fusion of script and organic forms, making it almost impossible to distinguish the written word from the petals, stems, or leaves.
