Delair Shaker’s artworks portray dynamic, chaotic lines that create tension and energy, contrasting with the calm, layered backdrop of geometric shapes, resulting in a striking balance of movement and depth. Most of his works are inspired by his visit to beloved city Baghdad.

Delair Shaker Delair Shaker ،Born 1971, Baghdad, Iraq, Delair Shaker studied ceramics at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad, receiving his diploma in 1990. He left Baghdad during the 1990s to live in Amman, where he taught art and later became head of the art department at the Ahliyyah School for Girls. In 2005, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued his art journey exploring, experimenting and producing mixed media art. In 2017, he came back to Jordan to reopen his old studio and carried out different ceramic projects most importantly “Objects of Imagination”.
